The Red Tower
Built in 1888 as an aristocrat's vacation home, the Red Tower at the entrance of Ino Hotel is one of Samos's most distinctive landmarks. Its unique style blends neoclassical design with Victorian influences — an equal-cross floor plan, two floors, and a flat cement roof that was exceptionally rare at the time.
The iconic red finish was achieved by plastering stone walls with gypsum and red dye, then finishing with white chalk lines to imitate the highly prized British red clay brick of the era.
